Statute
I - GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 The US Tennis School is a private hobby school of the SA US Tennis Academy registered in the register of non-profit organizations and foundations, which offers children and young people additional interest in tennis and opportunities for sports training according to the developed curriculum.
1.2 The US Tennis School was founded by the decision of the Council of the SA US Tennis Academy.
1.3 The statutes of the US Tennis School are approved by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy and enter into force in accordance with the Private School Act.
1.4 US Tennis School operates in the city of Tallinn on the basis of a curriculum registered by the Ministry of Education and Research.
1.5 Estonian is the language of instruction and administration at the US Tennis School.
1.6 The US Tennis School is guided in its activities by the Summer School Act of the Republic of Estonia, the Private School Act, the SA US Tennis Academy's statutes, this statute and other valid national and local legislation.
II - US TENNIS SCHOOL ACTIVITY GOALS AND MEANS OF ITS ACHIEVEMENT
2.1 US Tennis School's main activity is tennis teaching and training.
2.2 The goals of the US Tennis School are:
2.2.1 to offer children and young people opportunities for in-depth tennis training and personality development;
2.2.2 enable children and young people to achieve high sporting results in national and international competition;
2.2.3 to develop in children and young people the desire to act as organizers and judges of tennis competitions and events;
2.2.4 to train future tennis coaches.
2.3 To achieve its goals, US Tennis School:
2.3.1 creates conditions for children and young people to play tennis on the basis of the curriculum registered in the Estonian Education Information System (hereinafter EHIS);
2.3.2 organizes theoretical and practical tennis lessons based on the curriculum;
2.3.3 enables talented young people to achieve maximum sporting results through modern training and competition activities;
2.3.4 organizes training camps, sports competitions and creates conditions to participate in the all-Estonian and international competition system;
2.3.5 teaches young people theoretical knowledge about sports and provides practical experience for guiding others, conducting competitions and acting as a judge.
III - US TENNIS SCHOOL LEARNING - AND EDUCATION ORGANIZATION
3.1 The study organization of the US Tennis School is based on the curriculum(s) of the US Tennis School registered with the Ministry of Education and Research.
3.2 The academic year at the US Tennis School begins on September 1 and lasts until the beginning of the new academic year in the following calendar year.
3.3 Learning and education work takes place during free time from the educational activities of general education schools or outside working hours according to the schedule of the US Tennis School. In addition, learning and training work takes place in sports camps or in the form of individual training.
3.4 The teaching organization of the US Tennis School uses different learning forms and methods, including practical (training) and theoretical lessons in groups, individual training, sports competitions and training camps.
3.5 When assembling study groups, the student's physical abilities, age, sports results to date, the dynamics of the development of abilities and results, recommended occupancy rates for training groups, training loads and the age composition of students are taken into account. The transition from one level of sports mastery to another takes place according to the curriculum.
3.6 An inseparable part of the study and training work is the educational work of the students, the purpose of which is the formation of values, keeping in mind the rules of fair play and following sports lifestyles.
3.7 Changes to the curricula of the US Tennis School are approved by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy at the initiative of the director of the US Tennis School. The director of the US Tennis School involves representatives of coach-pedagogues and parents in changing the curriculum.
IV - US TENNIS SCHOOL ADMISSION, GRADUATION AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
IV - US TENNIS SCHOOL ADMISSION, GRADUATION AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
4.1 The conditions and rules for the admission and graduation of US Tennis School students are established by the school administrator in accordance with these statutes.
4.2 Students under the age of 18 are admitted to the US Tennis School on the basis of the parent's (guardian's) written application for joining the US Tennis School/completion/signing of a study contract.
4.3 US Tennis School concludes a contract with the student or his legal representative to the extent established by the curriculum. Mandatory points of the contract are specified in § 17 point 4 of the Private School Act.
4.4 If a student of the US Tennis School systematically violates the rules of the US Tennis School, is absent from study and training work for a longer period without reason, or if the student's tuition for three consecutive months has not been paid, he/she may be
exclude from the list.
4.5 A student may be excluded from the US Tennis School at the request of a parent (guardian) by submitting a written application to that effect with a one-month notice period.
4.6 The student's admission to the school, graduation and expulsion are formalized by order of the director of the US Tennis Academy.
V - RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF US TENNIS SCHOOL STUDENTS
5.1 US Tennis School students have the right to:
5.1.1 familiarize yourself with the curriculum(s) of the US Tennis School and the organization of study and training work;
5.1.2 receive information about US Tennis School students' competitive activities and other sports events;
5.1.3 use US Tennis School inventory, sports equipment and sports facilities in training and competitions in accordance with the established class and competition schedule;
5.1.4 to make proposals for better functioning of the work organization of the US Tennis School and to solve problems;
5.1.5 leave the US Tennis School at your own request.
5.2 The US Tennis School student has the obligation to:
5.2.1 comply with the US Tennis School statutes and US Tennis School rules of procedure;
5.2.2 participate in the study and training work of the US Tennis School according to the lesson plan;
5.2.3 maintain the inventory, equipment and property of the US Tennis School in a prudent manner. The student or his parents (guardians) shall compensate the property damage caused to the school by the procedure provided by legislation;
5.2.4 Upon leaving the US Tennis School, return the property in his possession or compensate it in the corresponding monetary value;
5.2.5 do everything possible to achieve the best sporting results;
5.2.6 to follow the principles of sportsmanship and fair play, refrain from behavior and activities contrary to sports ethics, including those that may harm training, health and physical ability;
5.2.7 maintain the good reputation of US Tennis School;
5.2.8 compete on behalf of US Tennis School or SA US Tennis Academy;
5.2.9 regularly attend sports medical check-ups and stand up for your health.
VI - BASIS AND PROCEDURE FOR US TENNIS SCHOOL TUITION INSTALLATION AND RELEASE
6.1 There is a fee for studying at the US Tennis School.
6.2 The size of the tuition fee, payment procedure and deadlines are established by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy and are not changed during the academic year.
6.3 The criteria for determining the amount of the tuition fee are:
6.3.1 volume of study-training work;
6.3.2 degree of sports mastery of the study cycle;
6.3.3 administrative costs for the curriculum;
6.3.4 curriculum specifics.
6.4 The director of the US Tennis School may give discounts on the amount of the tuition fee or exempt the tuition fee in case of good academic and sports results and financial difficulties in accordance with the procedure approved by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy.
VII - US TENNIS SCHOOL STRUCTURE, MANAGEMENT AND STAFF
7.1 The US Tennis School is a subdivision of the SA US Tennis Academy.
7.2 The staff of the US Tennis School consists of the director, coach-pedagogues and other employees. The structure and composition of the US Tennis School is approved by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy.
7.3 The rights, obligations and responsibilities of US Tennis School staff are determined by the rules of procedure, internal work rules, job description and contracts between the parties.
7.4 The US Tennis School is managed by the director, who is the representative of the US Tennis School within the limits of the powers granted to him during the term of his employment contract. The director of the US Tennis School is appointed by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy by concluding a fixed-term employment contract with him.
7.5 Responsibilities, competences and duties of the director of the US Tennis School:
7.5.1 the director manages the US Tennis School in compliance with the legal orders and decisions of the SA US Tennis Academy Council and Board;
7.5.2 is responsible and takes care of the general condition and development of the US Tennis School and the targeted and appropriate use of financial resources;
7.5.3 prepares the rules of procedure, curriculum(s), lesson plan, job descriptions and other documents that organize the activities of the US Tennis School, which it submits to the board of the SA US Tennis Academy for approval;
7.5.4 concludes training contracts with the student or his legal representative(s) to the extent established by the curriculum, within the limits of the powers granted by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy.
7.6 The study council, led by the director of the US Tennis School, is responsible for analyzing and evaluating the educational activities of the US Tennis School and making the decisions necessary for its management. The members of the academic council are appointed by the decision of the board of the SA US Tennis Academy.
7.7 The activities of the US Tennis School are directed by the board of trustees appointed by the SA US Tennis Academy in accordance with the Republic of Estonia Hobby School Act. The board of trustees makes proposals to the director of the US Tennis School and its manager on issues related to the development, property and budget of the US Tennis Academy.
VIII - US TENNIS SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION, REPORTING AND SUPERVISION
8.1 US Tennis School's documentation is maintained in accordance with the procedure established by the school manager.
8.2 The accounting and reporting of the financial activities of the US Tennis Academy are kept in accordance with the internal accounting rules of the SA US Tennis Academy, the income-expenditure reporting procedure and other procedures and regulations approved by the board of the SA US Tennis Academy.
8.3 The US Tennis School has its own budget.
IX - TERMINATION OF US TENNIS SCHOOL
9.1 The US Tennis School is established for an indefinite period. The US Tennis Academy's Board of Directors decides to close the US Tennis School.
9.2 The US Tennis School may be closed at the initiative of the board of the SA US Tennis Academy, as a result of bankruptcy, in other cases provided for by legislation, or if the further activities of the US Tennis School have become impractical.
9.3 Students, parents and staff and the Ministry of Education will be notified four months in advance of the termination of the US Tennis School.
9.4 The property and resources of the US Tennis School, which has ceased operations, will be transferred to the US Tennis School's administrator. The charter of the US Tennis Academy, a private hobby school of the SA US Tennis Academy, has been approved
31.03.2008 SA by the US Tennis Academy Council.
